Ms. Davis - Eden will be pursuing a degree in Media, Journalism and Film at Howard University in Washington, D. C. Upon completion of her studies, Ms. Davis-Eden plans to return to the Cayman Islands to help Cayman move into the forefront of the film industry.
She attended Triple C School in Cayman before receiving a scholarship to United World College Thailand where she was co-head of the student council while she was there. While studying for her A levels, Ayanna returned to Cayman during the summers and was a Cayman Youth Services volunteer.
The Thomson Leadership and Innovation Award is a scholarship created by The Peter N. Thomson Family Foundation designed to recruit and support Caymanian students who are driven to improve the Cayman Islands in areas including, but not limited to, entrepreneurial studies, emerging technologies, design and creative arts and/or the sciences.
